How To Get There

Please take the 10:45am WARD ISLAND FERRY from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal. There is a short walk from the ferry landing point on Ward Island to the wedding venue on Algonquin Island, we will have signs to guide you.

If you want directions instead of just the signs: please take the path to your right after exciting the ferry. This is Cibola Ave and will will take you along beside the channel with many sailboats. You will come to a large wooden pedestrian bridge on your right, cross the bridge onto Algonquin Island. On the island, turn left and walk for a few short blocks along along Omaha Ave. At the end of Omaha Ave turn right on Wayandot Ave. The Algonin Island Association Clubhouse will appear in the woods on your left (18 Wyandot Ave). If you reach the water you missed it.

NOTE: You can also get a water taxi to take you directly to the venue from the Toronto waterfront. A group water taxi is being arranged for those who identified having mobility issues.

Watermark Irish Pub - 207 Queens Quay West, Toronto

From the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal it is a short walk to WATERMARK IRISH PUB on the lake side of the Queen's Quay Terminal Building. We will have directions for you printed in our program which you will receive on the island in the morning.

For those who would like to have directions ahead of time: The pub is walk-able from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal, or you can also take the 509 or 510 streetcars westbound to York Street. You can identify the Queen's Quay Terminal Building (207 Queens Quay West, at the base of York Street) by the Sobey's store that is located in one of the main corners. You can see this store, and a large stand selling Boat Tours from the main road. You will then need to walk along the path beside the side of the Terminal to get to the 'front' or waterside. You will find the pub at the South-East corner of the building.
